Mary Anderson is a Human Resource professional with over 16 years of experience spanning across the Banking, Service and Retail industries both in Ghana and in the United Kingdom. Prior to joining Universal Merchant Bank (UMB) as a Human Resource Business Partner, Mary worked with Standard Chartered Bank, Ghana as a Human Resource Relationship Manager and with Inland Revenue in the United Kingdom, as a Business Administrator. She has extensive experience in managing human resource functions at the unit/sectional and organizational levels.

With her wealth of demonstrable experience in HR Strategy, HR Policy & Systems Design, Compensation & Benefits Management, HR Analytics, HR-Information based Systems, Resourcing, Learning & Development and Management of Performance Management System, Mary brings with her a fresh and dynamic perspective. A progressive team member/leader with ability for managing cross-functional business activities strategically to meet customer expectations (internal & external), and enhance business profitability. Mary holds an MSc in Human Resource Management from the Cardiff University Wales, UK and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Secretaryship from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana. She is also a member of the Institute of Human Resource Practitioners, Ghana.
