As part of the Bank’s commitment to positively impact our communities, a fully furnished and equipped classroom block commissioned and handed over to the unit for the Blind at the Cape Coast School for the Deaf and Blind on Monday, 30th December, 2019.The commissioning event was attended by the local Traditional Authorities, Regional Educational Officers, Clergy, Staff of Cape Coast School for the Deaf and Blind as well as Management and Staff of First Atlantic Bank.

The facility was formally handed over to the Headmaster, Mr Setum Ametewee at the event.The Classroom Block which is intended to address the infrastructure needs of the school comprised; 4 Classrooms, 2 Teachers Offices, 1 Common Room, 4 Washrooms and a Store Room. Additionally, several learning aids to support the teaching of the students were also provided and installed in the respective classrooms.On behalf of the school and students, the headmaster, Mr Ametewee in his speech expressed his profound gratitude to First Atlantic Bank for the gesture.
