TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Participation in this Digital Bank of The Year Video Competition (Competition) is deemed acceptance of these Terms. Information and instructions on how to participate form part of these Terms.

1. Eligibility:

The digital video challenge (“Challenge”) is open to individuals aged [18 and above] residing in Ghana, except employees of First Atlantic Bank and their immediate family members.

Entrants must have access to the internet and a valid email address and contact number(s) to participate.

By participating in the Challenge, entrants agree to abide by these terms and conditions and any other guidelines or instructions provided by First Atlantic Bank.

2. How to Enter:

1. i) Time Frame

This Competition starts at 12:00 pm GMT on Monday, 15th April 2024, and ends at 5:00 pm GMT on Friday, 17th May 2024.

Submission of entry will start at 12:00pm GMT on Monday, 15th April, 2024 and ends at 5:00pm GMT on Friday, 3rd May, 2024.

1. ii) Eligible Participants

The Competition is only open to individual Ghanaian residents aged 18 and above and are not employees (or their immediate family members) of First Atlantic Bank or its related bodies corporate (Participants).

iii) How to Enter

On 15/04/2024, the Promoter will announce the Competition and the brief ‘Digital Bank of The Year Video” (Brief) through:

-First Atlantic Bank’s Facebook channel;

-First Atlantic Bank’s Instagram channel;

-First Atlantic Bank’s Twitter channel;

-First Atlantic Bank’s website at www.firstatlanticbank.com.gh; and

-Selected partners of the Promoter

To enter this Competition (Entry), Participants must;

-Create a video that meets the Brief; and

-Submit the video to Promoter via the competition e-mail fabmydigitalbankchallenge@firstatlanticbank.com.gh

Entries will only be accepted by Promoter if Participants:

a.) Upload their video as an unlisted or public video to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Tik Tok and send officially via mail fabmydigitalbankchallenge@firstatlanticbank.com.gh; or

b.) post their video on their public social media account (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Tik Tok) and send officially via email fabmydigitalbankchallenge@firstatlanticbank.com.gh

c.) Must sign terms and conditions on www.firstatlanticbank.com.gh

d.) Only one entry per participant is allowed.

e.) Multiple entries will be disqualified.

f.) Submissions must be original content created by the entrant. Any copyrighted material used must be properly attributed.

3. Content Guidelines:

Videos submitted for the Challenge must adhere to the following guidelines:

1. i) Must not contain any content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, offensive, or otherwise inappropriate.
2. ii) Must not infringe upon any third-party rights, including intellectual property rights.

iii) Must not contain any identifiable third-party logos, trademarks, or brands unless express permission has been obtained.

1. iv) Video must not be more than 60 seconds
2. v) Must comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

4. Intellectual Property Rights:

By submitting a video entry to the Challenge, participants grant First Atlantic Bank a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to reproduce, distribute, and display the video for promotional purposes related to the Challenge.

Participants retain ownership of their video entries, but First Atlantic Bank reserves the right to remove any content deemed inappropriate or in violation of these terms and conditions.

5. Judging and Selection of Winners:

Judging criteria for the Challenge will be based on the following major criteria and other factors

i. Creativity and Innovation

ii. Branding & Commercial Appeal

iii. Originality

iv. Adherence to theme

v. Performance & Production quality

Winners will be selected at the sole discretion of the judging panel appointed First Atlantic Bank.

The decision of the judging panel is final and binding in all matters related to the Challenge.

Judges will select the top 10 videos for popular voting on social media.

6. Winners:

Winners will be announced on First Atlantic Bank’s Official social media pages and its affiliates on 17 May, 2024. Winner will also be contacted by Promoter via email and must provide written confirmation of their intention to claim the Prize.

The Winners of the Competition will receive:

• Winner: GHC 40,000.00
• 1^st Runner up: GHC 20,000.00
• 2^nd Runner up: GHC 10,000.00
• 3rd Runner up: GHC 5,000.00
• 4th Runner up: GHC 2,500.00
• 6th – 10th: videos selected as part of top 10 will receive GHC 1,000.00

Promoter has the right to replace all or part of the Prize with another item of similar value in their absolute discretion if for any reason a Prize is not available.

Prizes are non-transferable and may not be exchanged for other alternatives.

7. Limitation of Liability:

First Atlantic Bank and its affiliates, partners, and sponsors shall not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, or disappointment suffered by any participant as a result of their participation in the Challenge or acceptance of any prize.

8. Privacy Policy:

Personal information collected from participants will be used solely for the purpose of administering the Challenge and will not be shared with third parties without consent.

9. Amendments and Termination:

First Atlantic Bank reserves the right to amend or terminate the Challenge or these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.

10. Governing Law:

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ghana.

By participating in the Challenge, participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
